Analog Tokyo
September-December 2025
Branding/Publication
Illustrator/InDesign
The branding and visual identity of a fictional festival in Tokyo International Forum, inspired by the MJ Audio Festival and Tokyo International Audio Show. Analog Tokyo highlights the significance of Japanese technology in the audio and music industry by showcasing iconic brands, specialized hi-fi equipment, and a deeper appreciation for sound as a whole. The festival invites both local and international audio enthusiasts through a bilingual visual system.
Its visual concept is derived from sound waves, specifically longitudinal and transverse waves, to reflect the perception of sound in its purest form. The brand remains minimalist, using consistent layouts and intentional white space to reflect the clarity and precision often found in Japanese design.
